Introducing poetry and experiencing poetry year-round.
Session 2 – LEARNING POETIC DEVICES
Lessons to teach poetic devices: simile, metaphor, personification, alliteration, rhyming, repetition, onomatopoeia.
Session 3 – LEARNING POETIC STRUCTURES
Lessons to teach poetic structures: haiku, cinquain, diamante, list poems, concrete poems, limericks.
